Cracking show dessie, had a real good day out. if your dog wins or not, it's still a good days craic.

Totally agree with vermin catcher. There's too many shows on this that get a lot of undeserved stick and grief, and mostly by people who weren't even them. Like I said before dessie great show.

Dessie sounds like you are having a pop at me in that comment about the rough over class, some how the judge spooked my dog then tried to come around the right hand side of the dog which made him worse then he made a comment about the dog being nervous and ask what age he was when i said he was two the judge replyed ah hes only young yet to whichsaid" god he shouldnt be nervous he's been getting showed up and down the country for the past year " .. I did not come on here and run your show down if anything I think I defended the judge when someone else was having a go at him about what he put up as champion lurcher , I will admit his choices would not have been mine but thats why we have different judges at every show everyone to there own. I have always give your shows my support going back years and always look forward to them, but maybe a fault of mine that I call a spade a spade and have touched a nerve or been picked up wrong but I am not prepared to be made a c-- nt of on this site in a game of he said I said. All the best glen

Great wee show. Wasn't a massive turn out but there's a lot of shows and events coming up over the next lot of weeks. Enjoyed the few hours i was there. Relaxed and chilled, talkings dogs, hunting and catching up with people in general. Great to see that the racing didn't take too long and the heats were in quickfire succession. Got home early to watch the 2nd half of the Irish Cup Final. Made use of the portaloo......i apologise to anyone who ventured into after me!!!!!!!! :icon_eek::icon_eek::laugh:

A Tribute to the late John Shaw who passed away  last Thursday 6th November 25

      I Am Free
Do not grieve for me now my  friends and family, I am free
I am following the path God Laid for me
I took his hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day
To Love, to live, to hunt, to show my treasured Whippets, or play.
I found a peace at close of day.
Be not burdened with the times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief
Do not lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your hearts my friends and share with me
      God wanted me now,
      He set me free.
John, we will love you forever and you will be sadly missed by your loving family and all your Country Sporting Fraternity and in the show ring.
May the Angels above give you the best seat in Heaven and may your gentle soul rest in peace.
      For Country Sports Fraternity
      Margaret Mc Stay
