i had one when i was a kid that was just a plastic sphere that split in 2, the top half being clear plastic and the bottom half yellow plastic, water went in the bottom, the top had a gauze tray that was bent at 90deg with tin foil on the upright bit, behind this was a light bulb and that was it, but it worked :hmm: my old man made one using a heat pad from a reptile vivarium a good few years ago :thumbs:

is that all that is needed paulus a sealed unit water and heat and a tray for the eggs? cheers

the only other thing i can remember was it had a hole in the top and a thermometer and instructions on turning the eggs.

a hole on top to let out bad gases ect.... and let in fresh air i presume , instructions? did you write out the instructions for ur self or what :hmm: lol dont get that bit?

this was 1975 ffs :laugh: :laugh: how the fook to you expect me to remember the instructions that came with it :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
