how much wheaton is in that Troter?
dont really know mate,not one dog looks the same out the litter,hes turned out the tallest and the raciest,his sire is some dog and so is the sires sister who my mate owns if hes half as good as them ill be well happy :thumbs:
alright Pip, I know what you mean about difference in the looks, here are two 5 month old pups I bred end of last year...one rough as you like and the other like a bull X pup..

The sire to the pups is a smashing animal spindolero, always fancied the 3/8 5/8... What's he like in the field compared to 3/4 cross and half bred, pm if you like mate...

 

he can run mate, but tough and strong with it. better built than the 3/4 crosses i have seen. the half crosses i have seen have been heavyier types and short coupled,

don't make a lot of odds where i am but if you had big land then he would catch more than halfcross. they're all different though, wouldn;t want to generalise.
