paulus 26
i read a report the other year, the maximum population size that britian can self support food wise is 30.000,000 our population stands at over 64,000,000 and growing at a rapid rate, if any natural or man made disaster should happen to isolate us then were fooked before we even start. Cannibalism anyone? Taboo I know but you could feed plenty with lifes wasters, illegals etc ah there wouldnt be much eating in one of them antis once you cleaned them outDont come with much substance the old antis, suppose the anorexics could have them as a starter Dry them out in strips like jerky/bolting that you can munch on while out hunting. They could also be used to feed the hunting dogs thus ensuring that indeginous species thrive, win win all round. a new slogan, "eat your neighbour and save the country" Quote Link to post

BORDERSCOT 3,816
Its like the old saying - The law locks up the man or woman Who steals the goose from off the common But leaves the greater villain loose Who steals the common from off the goose. It's really sad, and it's getting worse, I live in the sticks, and I've watched, even in the last few years, the developers creep ever closer. There are housing estates where I used to play and hunt as a kid, and everytime I see the 'land for sale' signs up . . . . it breaks my heart, because now the land is only ever bought for one thing! Same around here - many of the fields I used to hunt and the hedgerows I used to ferret when I was a lad have been built on and ripped up...houses now...and once it's gone, it's gone for good...no going back... girl hunter 4
Blackgreyhound - I'm not sure what prompted your post, but that was really well said, I know exactly where you are coming from mate. My family are Roma Gypsies and we were taught from a really young age to respect nature and all wildlife - we had to learn everything about each animal before we hunted them, we had to train our own dogs from when we were little kids. We were taught to shoot and made to spend hours practising and it was god help us if we ever wounded an animal, it had to be an instant kill or a miss or we were in deep poo I once got a proper beating for tearing a branch off a tree, I love my dogs with all my heart, I am devastated by the destruction of beautiful natural habitat, I empathise and agree with what you say Good point well presented mate 2 Quote Link to post
