Gaz_1989 9,539
I took in a Jill last week. Posted a few pics and a few lads said she looked pregnant. For the last week she has been nesting, losing belly hair and eating like a horse. So confirming my suspicion. Her Vulva has not been swollen at all. Last night she was acting differently, running about frantically and her Vulva is swollen and looked dischargey. Could it be that she is ready to give birth? Or that she has had a phantom and now come into season? Her stomach is a little swollen but not massive. But I don't know how big pregnant Jill's get. Any info appreciated. Gaz. Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
That was one of my thoughts to be honest mate. My vet charges £30 consultation. I aren't that desperate to find out! Quote Link to post

If you dont want to pay the vets fees then just wait and keep an eye on here... if she starts to go downhill then straight to the vets...other than that i would just let nature take its course 1 Quote Link to post

No babies in nest box. And discharge isn't sticky or smelly. It's as though the pregnancy has disappeared and she's gone into season? Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,874
With the symptoms you describe like nesting and moulting she isn't coming in season. Personally I'd be made up she lost them or had a phantom if I'd only just got her. Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Ok folks this is the Jill that we though was pregnant... Could she of either had a phantom or had them and killed them and now come in season? I'm assuming she will need either mating with a vasec hob or Jill jabbing to bring her out? How can it be that she is in season again? Is this common? Thanks. Gaz. Quote Link to post

The one 8,592
Theres a bit of colour about there and it does look like shes starting to swell , i reckon if she had a phantom see wouldn't be coming in so quickly Quote Link to post
