mark williams 7,568
Hi Guys, I was lucky enough to be a passenger yesterday going down the M6 and A50 to Nottingham from near Wigan where i live . To pass the time i thought i`d count the rabbits i`d see running about or road kill. The trip is approx` 200 miles returning in the evening and all i saw was one rabbit feeding,no road kill whatsoever. In the centre of Nottingham at the university they were everywhere inc squirrells and woodpigeons galore. I was in Nott`s for a family funeral so when at the cremetorium they were everywhere again, i even considered asking permission but thought better of it . On the return home in the evening, i saw nowt at all, i have been told the bunny numbers are low but i didn`t realise how low. atb Mark Quote Link to post

Rabid 1,936
Me and my ferreting buddy have been saying the numbers are very low these last two years, small pockets about here and there but not widespread as they used to be. Give it a few more weeks and then they will start showing again, when the young move onto bordering land. Rob. Quote Link to post
