B.P.R 2,798
I used to wear one of these and never had a use for it... I mean, why would you need cord in your day to day life?.... I had one with the 'cobra weave'.... looks like the lanyards i made... The problem with them as 'survival bracelets' is, to unravel the cord....you must pick out all the tension knots which takes a few minutes. BUT THEY WORK I was shown a weave that means you can unravel the whole cord in seconds.... By pulling on the 'D' ring the whole bracelet falls apart on itself. The one in the picture i made WONT unravel due to the metal 'adjuster' i put in at the bottom.... But usually its just 2 loops that connect it. These are great if you need cord immediatley...for a dog lead.... or like i needed.... emergency shoe laces.... In more 'survival' situations the cord can be used for rigging a shelter and tying a raft..... Or the worst case.... a tourniquet. Possibilites are endless... The inner cords (7 of them).....can be used for rabbit snares or fishing line. Now, i dont sell these really so this isnt a 'for sale' pitch....just make them now and then. But id reccomend these if you are into bushcraft and the likes....or just want cord handy....24/7. We used the lowa bootlaces out in afghan to make these.... theyre a beige colour and have a 'camo effect' on them.... Or theyre good as bargaining tools for crates of cold juice

B.P.R 2,798
I would think they would be very handy for any countrysport. Very nice work. They are handy for sure... Ive heard of people using them for tourniquets out in afghanistan (before every man carried one as standard).....as emergency slings and dog tag lanyards.... Multiple uses.... And with ones that can have a 'safety whistle' in the clip for emergencies...good for kids etc if they get lost
