Wxm 1,638
I sold a set of scopes on ebay and the buyer said that they were all scratched on the lenses, which they weren't but opened a case. so any way I've had this message from ebay "A case has been opened because the buyer has an issue with an item purchasedfrom you. We've reviewed the case and have decided to issue the buyer with afull refund of £14.98. The refund includes the purchase price plus originalpostage & packaging. The hold on this PayPal transaction has been removed. This case is now closed. You aren't required to reimburse the buyer oreBay, and this case will not be counted in your seller performanceevaluation. You can view the details of the case in the ResolutionCentre" does that mean they've taken the money off me or ebay have paid them its a little unclear

AirgunGuy 362
Never heard of that 1. Have you checked your paypal account to see if ebay has taken the funds? Personally i would've asked for proof that the lens is scratched such as a photo
LaraCroft 863
It says " you aren't required to reimburse..." I would check your bank details and see what has happened

AirgunGuy 362
If they have taken the funds then contact the buyer asking for photographic proof that the lens is scratched and ask for the scope to be returned...then contact ebay and tell them that you have made these requests to the buyer

RubyTex 1,957
There are far too many cheeky c**ts on ebay for my liking. I sold my tablet computer on there to a guy in Guernsey of all places, clearly stating in the ad that it had had a lot of use and was a bit scratched on the back - with clear pictures to show the scratches, which were small and general 'wear and tear'. He paid something like £78 for it, plus £10 in postage...a day after he received it i got an e-mail saying it was all scratched and he wanted a refund because it wasn't as described. So i quoted him the original listing and said there would be no refund. So he opened a case. Ebay said he had to send it back and i had to give him a refund. Why, because that dopey f****r couldn't be arsed to read the listing or look at the clear pictures?? I was fuming. He also wanted me to pay the postage back cheeky as f**k, and he got told no chance. If he wasn't sending it back paying for his own postage then the money was staying in my account. He sent it back the next day like. Utter f***ing retard.
