SKoT Hi skot rubed the stock down with sand paper by hand then used a damp cloth to get rid of sanding dust let it dry then rubbed tru oil gun stock finish on to it about four or five coats and left it to dry and then rubbed the metal work down with tin foil at first and then wet and dry corse paper to get rid of eny pitting then rubbed it all down with a cloth to get rid of the dust put a coat of primer on then left it for a bit then three coats of auto spray paint then once dry i put it all back to gether going to crono it to day then start on the internals atvbmac Quote Link to post

Marksman 934
Don't cut it mate, you're best off heating it up till red then compressing it. Let it cool naturally If its too thick you might have the wrong sized spring. It might get cool bound when compressed in the piston Darryl Edited March 21, 2013 by Marksman Quote Link to post
