What New Scope

I am going to traet my self to a new scope soon,The criterior it needs to meet are as follows:

I dont do expensive scopes any more as they tend to get abused so it has to be cheap

I seem to have devoloped a perversion for twiddling so i want target turrets

I am easy on the ret as long as it has some sort of markings for referance

I only want a 25mm tube

I need good light gathering

And I dont intend to shoot much over 300yrds with it so it needs to be good for 400 !!!!

Any suggestions????

funny that cos i had a look at both of them today, the issue i have is that 30mm optiloc rings cost about a million quid

Ive got one its got massive chunky target turrets clear as a bell and bright for a 40mm objective its milldot 25mm tube light weight what more do you want with a scope.

 

The image makes the mtc range look sick beyond 50 yrds and at 200 yrds its stunning.

Actually i just found a pair of 30mm rings in me shed !!! so 30mm is on the menu again.

s/h leupold v111 or vx3. I would avoid twiddly bits on cheap scopes. Unfortunately with optics you get what you pay for and build quality is paramount once you start reaching out.
