Hi folks .. Can anyone recommend any decent (free) video stabilising software, I was at a gig in Nottingham last night, and it was a tad on the shaky side... probably tooooo many of those two pint jugs they do in there!!

Now, I'm no expert. But i read alot. A blog i sometimes follow had the same problem with footage of the Peak District shot out of a Microlight. (Picture wobbling, that sort of thing) The "Jello" effect or the like. A guy posted on that blog about it and told the blogger (Who's a pr*ck BTW) to remove every 8th frame when editing. It seemed to work for the pr*ck. Give it a go.

Cheers for that mate, removing every 8th frame.. interesting, i'll look into that, wouldn't mind seeing the aerial footage of the peaks either.

Stabilizing can be carried out AFTER recording folks, apparantly you run the footage through the software and it slightly crops the "shaky" outer edges off.

Editing video is all new to me, always nice to get software recomended before you download it..... i don't want to fcuk this laptop up..... AGAIN!..:angel:
