The tuned version's a different animal altogether lewis mate, much smoother, less recoil and a bit quieter (although mine is unsilenced cos it s one of the old long ones and I find its much better balanced without a mod). BUT-tuning's not something that you need to rush out and do immediately, theyre a great gun to start with so you should find it groups well as is mate. But definitely worth considering when you find that youre shooting to the full potential of the untuned rifle.

Iv only put one pellet through it since iv had it so not really been able to gauge the recoil or trigger but will be having a good go Friday and all next week now iv finished my college course haha

Beautiful rifle the HW80. Mine is never going to be sold, ever! This one was built when Weihrauch didn't have the production issues we've seen in recent years. If it's sweet-shooting and handling Lewis, leave it be. These do not need tuning mate, they are magnificent as they come. Try H&N FTT with it, HW80s love those!

It is a real nice rifle only had one proper go so far finishing of the tin of h&n ftts I had. I bought some more and some more grease to strip clean and regrease but haven't had any time and to do anything. I was suppost to be out yesterday with a mate but the weather put a hold on that. Plus starting a new trial for a job this week it might be put on hold again.

I will do bud, it will be around may time I should think will have my job sorted by then. And yes I'm very happy with the rifle tis a very sweet gun.
