Sounds like a bloody daft cross to me Wouldn't you just end up with a dog who couldn't really catch anything but would quite likely bite you at some point??

i like the look of akitas but evry owner of a male one ive spoken too has had it neutered at about 12 months.but crossing one with a running dog i just dont see the point.

put the saluki/grey first cross over the akita bitch....il keep a bitch outta the litter and fine it with whippet or greyhound dog...dont knock it!!!!
