have been hospitalized with pleurisy & pneumonia 3 times in the last 10 years , and it takes months to get back to normal for an adult , I do hope your laddy is on the mend very soon x

anyone on the forum had pnuemonia my youngest (3) who has down syndrome has had it twice now he's just starting to get over his latest fight against it ,his body isnt producing the pneumococcal antibo

Aww i hope the wee one makes a speedy recovery, they get so fed up in hospital, my wee 10 month old granddaughter is just out of hospital, she had breathing problems and they found out part of her wee

I'm really sorry you're having to go through this. My youngest son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a few years ago, which means a life time of injections and monitoring his carb/sugar intake. It's heartbreaking and the feeling of uselessness not being able to make him better has been a real struggle for me. I just hope you and your partner are able to find the strength to stay positive and strong whilst your little man is battling his way back to health. I really do wish you all the best of luck.
