Got Me A Mule

There all hybrids but the term mule ( in the bird breeders world ) suggests that one of its parents is a canary. I play a c d on repeat play with the finch song I want the mule (hybrid) to pick up in the early winter months when the adult finches are molting so as it is schooled in to them. You don't want the canary song as you might as well have a canary instead of a mule (hybrid). Glad you're got a mule there very pretty sing with the finch song (hopefully with the stamina of the canary, well done.

its mom was a white canary i think it was a norfolk

Without sounding rude mate,every mule has a canary a parent(a mule is a finch x canary)and all my mules have canaries as mums. It's what song they listen to as a youngster to what they sing as a adult.I've had 2 greenfinch mules sing like a goldfinch due to listening to a goldie song when young.
