Green Fillter Vs Red Fillter

Hi I hunt foxes and rabbits and want to know what is best for that out of the red and green fillters and what do they both do different Thanks.

I found that I lost too much light through a green filter , but everyone see's thing's differently.

Try an amber filter,i find it better for fox and rabbit. Also better in poor weather conditions.

Either or Neither, each bit of land is different and the odds are they will get used to whatever you use anyway.

 

Haven't used filters for years, doesn't seem to make any difference, just use a Lamping kit with a dimmer, and USE the dimmer, either that or buy a NiteSite!

Stick to the red mate i found it to hard to see much threw the green filter till they moved and i could pick up a eye

green is the easiest colour for our eyes to focus on, which should therefore make it better, I use both red and green at different times, dont see a lot of difference
