Why do rabbits walk out of the holes into the nets?

Is it because the ferrets are not pushing them out or is it that the rabbits have not been ferreted before,

the ferret is coming right out behind them?

They are able to walk out the burrow as the ferrets no following them to the surface and pushing them out

Are you quiet when you've dropped the ferret in .they can be reluctant to bolt if there's any noise outside the warren atb

the list could be endless best thing is to catch them and kill them and no just exercise them and wise them up

seen it few times,even had them slip round disturbed nets and sit outside the entrance,im guessing without a ferret right up behind them they are not pressured into bolting.

 

iv seen a video might have been on here where a rabbit is sat outside the hole seemingly unaware of any danger when the ferret comes right out behind it and nails it

It's all down to sent when we handle the nets we leave our sent on the nets the rabbits fear us humans more than any thing els

i am using new and old nets my ferret is coming out right up there arse other times takes the pegs out the ground hitting them that hard

Thing to think about as well if the ferrets no hard on the rabbit and it walking or sulking out a burrow i think it could feel a heavier z net and that could cause it to go back underground .A few times you see a rabbits head poking out a hole but if you stay still it often makes a bolt for freedom

ONE the hob i use pushes the rabbits out and is allways behind them but yesterday they just seemed not boverd to bolt

I have had it when ferrets have had a tussle with them first, knocks the life out of them, they just walk out like they are knackered especially with hobs.

 

Same when using long nets. They hit it hard, struggle out but they are knacked and sit in the grass and can be picked up.

rich these rabbits dint even struggle in the nets i was told some times when the weather has bin bad it could be why THATS why i asked never had them just walk out like this
