seen it few times, even had them slip round disturbed nets and sit outside the entrance,im guessing without a ferret right up behind them they are not pressured into bolting.

iv seen a video might have been on here where a rabbit is sat outside the hole seemingly unaware of any danger when the ferret comes right out behind it and nails it

Thing to think about as well if the ferrets no hard on the rabbit and it walking or sulking out a burrow i think it could feel a heavier z net and that could cause it to go back underground :hmm: .A few times you see a rabbits head poking out a hole but if you stay still it often makes a bolt for freedom

I have had it when ferrets have had a tussle with them first, knocks the life out of them, they just walk out like they are knackered especially with hobs.

Same when using long nets. They hit it hard, struggle out but they are knacked and sit in the grass and can be picked up.
