Has anyone seen this race whippet?

Quixand Fallout Boy (Milhouse)- This dog is over in Holland on loan from the US. I would like to see how he is doing. Also, is there a website for keeping up with this sort of information about race dogs there in the UK?

Hi, mate. If that is a Pedigree Whippet, then the U.S. Whippet seems to have deviated a long way from the Breed Standard; that dog looks very much like the Non-Ped Whippets that are popular here in the U.K. There seems to be Greyhound blood in there, just going by the photo. A fine looking dog, nontheless !

Like you say it looks more like a bwra whippet. Had a look at its ped and all the whippets on the generation ped that you see standing up are of the same stamp. Very interesting that.

^{It's a pedigree race bred whippet going back to some old American racing pedigree lines also classic old English breeding Deepridge, but doesn't look typical probably because it's been bred for performance rather than looks nice looking dog}

americian pedigree aren't accepted into the british whippet racing dogs from these lines won't get a passport

I ran a dog years back at a EAWCC event which was owned by an american and was american lines not sure re name but will see if i kept the card looks very simalar to Quixand Fallout Boy (Milhouse

He's 20". I have talked about this family of whippets on a couple other threads. Something I would like to point out again is that the top ten dogs in the National Open Field Coursing Association for the season consisted of 7 salukis and 3 whippets. All three of those whippets came from the QuiXand kennel (USA). When I check out race resluts across the various racing organizations here, if there is a QuiXand dog in the race it usually wins.

They may be registered both ways, I'll check into it with the breeder. I think they have been trading dogs back and forth for some time now.
