I will definitely have bull blood in the future.

Any dog can have grit and determination. They're not special to me anymore as they are too heavy for what I want. As for what bulls I've had I had a cracking little rescue bitch half x and her son from a 5/8 3/8 jabba, have also had from Reece's billy. They are good dogs for the right job but I now prefer my racy stuff. I can't comment on bull whippets however as never had one but I assume they are just as head strong heavy and can't turn.

wrong  and not all bull x`s are plodders

They can be as heavy or light as you want.

A mate has got a whippet/grey with 1/8 bull in her.

She is as fast as you would ever need and turns on a sixpence.

With so little bull I don't see the point. Don't take me the wrong way, its just my opinion, I just think adding bull is for that bit of skitso in the dog, running dog is like " gonna catch this fu**er" and when they do the bull bits like " right time to smash the sht outta ya". When I had bull in my dogs I had plenty, that's why I used Billy lines. Now I don't go for quarry that needs a good bit of bull so am happy with collie. As I say only an opinion. I've seen some cracking bull x's but seen collie x do the same job.

the 2 above are (dark brindle) bull/gey x collie/grey (light brindle) bull/grey x collie/grey to a 3/4 bull/whippet and then theres a litter out of him back to a 1/2 collie/grey

this old 3/4 bull whippet on the left is 13 or else 14 this year back in her day here faults were her inability to matain top end speed and stamina

As I say I've seen some cracking bullcrosses a mate of mine had brother and sister 5/8 3/8. Cracking dogs. But as you say top end and stamina are an issue due to size, I personally would now rather have collie lol. I look at bulls everytime a litter is down but I just don't chase quarry to justify getting one.

bull x`s can be versitile and very soft mouthed both mine retrieve fur and feather, so the bull x doesnt have to be a one trip poney

fair comment. My dog was badly treated for the first year (before I got her), and TBH I didn't do the work with her that I should.

Her recall is useless, and if she sees a fox - that's it!

Worrying when she's not properly stockbroken.

Lovely housedog, but at seven I don't think there's much I can do with her (unless someone on here knows different?).

The contrast between her and my deerhound X pup is amazing. He's laid-back, comes in to the whistle from 100 yards+ most times, will stand at my side when told to, and has been hard-mouthed (when catching squirrels in the Park) and is now soft-mouthed with rabbits.

I keep a bull whippet and I would not be without her...not the fastest but she makes up for it in other ways....my one would run through a brick wall for me.....great guard dog as well and my best dog with my kids

as with all dogs its all in their up bringing. both the two im running at the minute are very obidient and work to the whistle and hand signals. both will retrieve rabbits and feather live to hand.
