chris k 205
Ide like to put down a few comments about this rescue centre as i picked up a couple of stinkys off them today. Firstly they have no problem with working ferrets. In fact there all for it. The hutchs where all in excellent condition and clean as where the ferrets which is better than most of the breeders ive seen recently. They had alot of ferrets to choose from as i relised when a tap on the hutchs brought forth a tidal wave of white fur and pink eyes There prices are excellent too at 35 quid per ferret. (there all snipped and flead) If you think this is steep try phoning your local vets and asking how much it costs to get them snipped so trust me 35 is dirt cheap. Ive picked up 2 ferrets tonight and there excellent little critters (got a hob and a jill). Both at the age of 6 months old. Sam and Bill who run the centre really know there stuff as well and Bills really the guy in the know for the supplies So check them out http://www.ferretparty.moonfruit.com/ Also they have quite a few albino hobs and jills under 12 months old up for adoption. Just though ide mention it as ive noticed quite a few lads on here looking for albinos 3 Quote Link to post

Guest vin
£35 for a snipped fert is a bargain. I would have one if I needed one anytime.. some of the best grafters have come from similar backgrounds. If they know what there doing im sure the fella could point you out the best worker from the pack...or at least the fastest, toughest little double hard monkey. Quote Link to post
dsullia 32
Well i called the one at dereham today to be met with the most frosty lady i have ever encountered, she spent 10 mins telling me how they can be hurt and that's they under no circumstances will be letting "people like myself have ferrets from them"......i was polite and i even tried to point out that my jills are well housed and looked after very well and that it is what this is what meant to be doing but as you can imagine this fell on deaf ears...................so lesson to be learnt do not call dereham ferret rescue and tell them you would like to give a couple of ferrets a good working home as and i quote "my kind are not welcome there" Quote Link to post

This is why i thought it could be a good idea if anyone else comes across other rescue centres like this who are polite and dont have there heads shoved up there arses we could give them a shout out Quote Link to post

B.P.R 2,798
35 quid a stinker is a bargain. when you say snipped do you mean vasectomy or castration for the hob and spay for the jill? ive got 3 stinkers in that hutch worth over £200 me. the missus felt sorry for one and bought it for 40notes (tbh worth every penny as hes my best worker) fiver each for the other 2 and a castration for all 3 at just over £50 each. chris k 205
castration mate. when i asked my local vets they said per jill and 105 for a hob thieving barstuads Quote Link to post
