socks 32,253
It always amazes me that the prey species of this world have such natural fitness and stamina ... We strive day after day to condition our running dogs with the best food and supplements with a rigorous daily exercise regime designed to get them in peak fitness a warm comfy living quarters so that they can recover completely the best vet care to keep them on top of their game .... Yet you can walk into a field ( per ban ) in the middle of nowhere where a hare or deer may never have seen a running dog never been run hard by any other animal but yet they can outrun out turn and make our charges look amateurish when they come back to us tongues out chest heaving empty mouthed ... Nature truly is amazing .......

patterdalejoel 669
i think just rabbits..... all their lives they will only mostly move a few yards from their burrow, and may only ever have been sent back down the warren by a fox..... yet will be too clever and quick for dogs if they are bolted from their warren, and know exactly where they are headed, and most of the time its the most difficult path for the dog.... amazing.
