rabbit hunting. All year sport or seasonal shoots

I'm just starting up rabbit/ pest control (pigion, grey squirrel etc) hunting using catapult. one to help out farmers and local businesses and two to support a self sufficient life style.

 

1. So is there any seasonal restrictions on these animals?

2. what are your views on catapult hunting?

1. No not on rabbits and squirrels

 

2. Catapult hunting.........fun....not pest control, you'd have to be a machine. If your looking at controlling these, I'd be looking at other methods..

hi, there is no season on rabbits but if you want to protect your sport let them breed, i usualy stop at the end of march ans start up again in september, i know this is difficult for pest controll but an effort has to be made,

I think the trouble is,while yor doing your best to let them breed there will be others still hunting them, I personally still shoot a few youngens through spring and summer to feed the ferret kits with, ATB rabbitcatcher 1

No you can help your self to rabbits and squirrels all year round mate

I think your going to struggle when theres leaves on the trees and a lot of summer cover about when we move on to other methords
