Southern Hunter Series - Round 2 - Results

hi guys

here are the results from Sunday, copied from BBS

To allow an event to start with 3 illegal targets, 2, 17 and 18 is an epic fail.

My apologies to all who attended today and the others at WLR who helped make the day possible.

At least it didn't rain!

Well in lads.

Looks like all the scores were a lot higher this round  .

You should try the .22 class Davy. Looking at them scores I feel you would have a good chance of being up there mate in the medals with how you shoot your HW97KT when out hunting with me.

I'm going to try and make the Cambridge meet in Dec buddy and enter in the .22 class. Should be a good laugh.

hi Si

i missed some easy shots again,to confident tha its over when you approach the peg, then you go and miss it  but that was yesterday hey ho!

if you make the Cambridge meet,i will shoot my .22 for a practise run! and then decide to give it a proper go afterwards

Nice one partner  .

Can I have a bowler hat too in December :hmm::laugh: .

Yeah I think its about time you stopped playing around with the TX200 (baby calibre anyway mate) and got out the Weihrauch (big boy calibre) to knock them targets over with.

If you can hit pigeons in the head cleanly at 50 and 55 metres with it like I witnessed you do with it in the Summer at mine, the 8 to 45 yards targets wont cause you much trouble mate.

I think if you upgraded your scope to the new Hawke Sidewinder 30, 4 - 16 x 50 SR Pro that's just come out you would be onto a right winner (trust me).

Si.

hi lads, i must say this,i scored 49 out of a possible 60,but because of 3 so say dodgy placed targets'my score has gone UP by 3points, i no one target was out of rainge rules,50yrds instead of 45yrds,so no one on the day killed it,but the other targets,i saw lads knock them over'lads miss them, and lads plate them.as far as i am concerned hft is a hunting senario'if you cant see the kill zone you position yourself to make the shot, while still touching the allocated peg,so i will be giving back my dodgy silver badge i gained on the day,ime not intrested in gimmie points,i shot to the best of my abillatey on the day,so 49 gets me a well deserved BRONZE badge on the day.one target had a wire across the kill zone,i saw nothing wrong with this'i plated it,but i saw other lads knock it over,so why give me and everyone a extra point.are they trying to make hft to easy, i for one am a little miffed by it all at the moment. also gave lads points who totally missed the so say dodgey targets, aint that down to gettin the shot totally wrong on the day.any way just my point being made lads, regards chaz.
