Tenterfield stainless steel fox whistles £6

Recommended Posts

What you are saying is the tenterfield brings a load of foxes in, each fox has different experience with noises, and calls.

Ive never used one, but used a load of others, the worst been that silver disk thing. best been the brass keepers call disk which once mastered is lethal. doesnt sound like much but gets in the foxes ears.

I tried making one out of a tin I got my sardines from for my lunch. Wasn't too bothered about it not working but it left an aftertaste I would guess was akin to a hookers clunge after a very busy week without a wash whilst the decorators went to town.

yeah make them now and again.

Thats harsh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
best we have got in one night was 14 but that was a all nighter.

we have some seriousy problems in my area that stem from younger lads in there early teens that have no idea how to use dogs correctly thus being 70+ percent of my permissions within 3 to 5 miles near the town the quarry be it rabbit or fox takes of as soon as the light hits it no filter or fillets steaks are gonna keeps these foxes coming in.

my permissions which are more rural say 8 to 10 miles out of the town, the quarry is certainly not lamp shy in any degree of manor as when i go to these more remote locations im better with the shotgun as its easy to get them within 15 20 yards.

this is wy im building myself a night vision set up no solve the problem.

and once again tenterfield callers are great tools in the right hands ;)

you say that tenderfield fox whistle is that good and you are that good at using it ,your selling your calls on here prove it ,prove me wrong as i have said the same thing to other people years ago make a dvd on how you do it , show calling the foxes in (not cubs) using your fox whistle and i will apologise. somehow i do not think that will happen ?cannot wait

don't be so stupid

there are hundreds of video's of them calling in foxes there are several ones that come up on youtube as soon as u type on tenterfield, and Roy lupton uses one on fields sports (YouTube)

i don't blame it on lurcher lads they do them selves as there my friends and they have admitted

themselves of over hunting im these area's and also complain of lamp shy fox's in the same area's i do.

you seem to be very NAIVE by saying they don't work when there are several maybe hundreds of video's that show them working with great affect.

you also seem to have a envyiss like attitude to me selling them like im going to become a millionare selling them ¡¡¡ i make them cause i like to in my spare time, i have given more away than i have sold.

your bold criticism ihas no direction as you have not given any problems with the callers maybe the man blaming his tools again by the sounds of things.

and as for getting them in 15 -20 yards is what i have done for the last 3 years with my shotgun as i have only recently got a rifle.

one thing i will slightly agree on is that the older/wiser fox's take more work to get in than the younger ones best tip i can give you for the older one's is 2/3 squweeks then wait 30+ seconds and be patient they will come as long as on don't over do the caller.

please respond with more nonsense as i enjoy educating the part time hunters ;)

nothing like name calling to show immaturity.

and the insult nob is not very creative you could have made in more interesting sounding like your a no jockey cock gussling son of a gender bender. but i wouldn't lower myself to call anyone that as it could validate my membership of the hunting life forum.

have you figured out how to use the tenterfield yet????

if you blow instead of suck yes ino u like to suck it but the design of the caller you must blow to create the squweeking affect!

we are still going around in circles yet again i asked you to make a dvd using that call ,you have already stated you can get them in 15-20 yds it is not hard to call foxes and get them on camera ,i did not ask you about a night vision there is no needto use one of them if your lamping and calling skills are up to scratch ,next thing you will be using an ak 47 and a rocket launcher lol :boogy:

there's a photo i have of one i shot with a shotgun about 20 yards away with a no4 12g

i shot 4 that night, all called in with a tenterfield made from a piece of aluminium with i still have.

as for going around in circles there are video's already of hunters and nature lovers calling in fox's with the callers im not going to waste my time getting some poor quality night time fox shooting now when i get my night vision set up i will then make a video as i was going to anyway for youtube is this ok with yourself ?????
