Rabbit head practice targets

Im trying to make up some life size rabbit head targets with a kill zone to aim at for practice.

Does anyone have any targets like this they can share on the forum?

Or would anyone know a average distance between top of ears to bottom of the head? and average size of the head? my ones in the freezer no longer have heads to measure.

I'd like it to be accurate as my practise range is between 20-45yrds so i'd like to have an accurate head size so i can learn range finding using the mildots against the head size and set distances.

It's a 25mm kill zone, so just draw around a 5p, get pellets in that an your ok to go

Ok thats usefull to draw on it thanks, im still after the measurments so range find on the mil dots (half mildots)

What size is a 5p in Wales? Here they look a lot smaller that 25mm

Let me find the document and I'll put it up here for you. Think there is about 6 heads on an A4 document.

What I ment by that was the kz is 25mm, so if you can shoot groups within 5p , your ready to go lol ah right didn know u wanted it to range find

so when printed on a4 paper they give an inch target?

When printing them, you will need to minimize the margines on the printer and the circle should be about an inch give or take a mm

'Rabbit's head is about the size of a potato. Take a felt tip pen and a piece of hardboard. Draw an egg-shaped oval and add a pair of ears about 3 inches long. Add a 5p sized circle between eye and earlobe area to represent brain spot. Set it up at your zeroing range or where you need to get a fix on trajectory. Saves fannying about with computers and costs nowt'.

 

I do this most of the time for practicing. It works great
