Guest vin
I was up the dales earlier in the week and had a good day on the bunnies. One of the restuarants I do some work for locally, asked me if i fancied a tester on the cheffs new culinary creations.. I dropped of 5 nice fat healthy Dales bunnies off on weds night and I was invited down when the place had closed last night to have a meal with the staff and cheffs. The cheffs had created 3 different meals out of the bunnies.. Spanish style done with white wine garlic ,herbs etc etc South American/Cajun style with spices etc etc marinaded in paprika and chillies and finished off in cocunut milk. Italian Style with tomatoes and black olives peppers and italian type seasonings. all served with White Rice,Garlic bread and Tomato bread, washed down with a pint. I had a serious problem deciding which I liked the best becasue each dish tasted like heaven on a plate... I had to try them all 2 times to make sure. I can honestly say that the last time I tasted rabbit anywhere near as good was in Spain. . .Dont get me wrong chaps Tomo makes a mega rabbit stew. . And so does my Mam. . .But im now a convert. no more stews for me.(never say never) Im going to get the full recepie and a run through on each dish next time I go down to drop the cheffs some bunnies off. . . Its a shame they are not on the menu for the restuarant...u never know..maybe one day. . . its funny how the cheffs cant wait for me to drop them bunnies off..but they take them home and cook them for the family.. ps..sorry its not a hunting post as such...but I did catch the bunnies and we had a cracking day in doing so.
