You can bet your balls i will, cos if it dont work i will be calling you all a shower of cu**s

Sounds like the fuels not atomising correctly if a puff of easy start gets her fired up????. maybe get the other injectors ultrasonically cleaned? i think its around £45 a set. cheaper option than cha

It's warm engine oil is thinner diesel ignites easier. I'm not saying 100% it's gonna cure it but I've had two vehicles doing the same replaced starter problem solved. From what you've changed and tri

I'm trying to remember it trouble is the 2.8 3.0 3.1 Isuzu all ran completely different systems and I can't remember which ones which.

Have you got

(A) injector pipes running from pump over the top of the rocker onto each injector 4 of

(B) injector pipes from pump to the side of the head through to the injectors 4of

© one pipe from pump to a large rail then four pipes of it to each injector

(D) pump is bolted to the end of the head no pipes to injectors. They feed of a central chamber through the head itself

Right think there the same set up as the pd vw engine. If so the injectors have o ring seals on them usually three one below fuel rail one above the one above that for the fuel return or spill system. Did they remove all injectors or just the faulty one. If yes did they replace all the seals. If yes then could be either starter motor or the high pressure pump on the block that's at fault.

If no to all seals it could be them not holding pressure in the fuel rail.

Have you checked oil level fuel can vent into the oil if seals have gone if its high there's the problem.

Be warned if the oil level is really high don't start the engine once its too high the engine will suck oil through breather system then it will rev it's nuts of till it blows the lump no way of shutting it down unless its a manual and you can stall the motor in gear

Weyhey!! I have the bitch running.

After a lot of fannying and good advice we have finally got the cow starting on cue in a morning, third morning on the trot so fingers crossed its cured.

:hmm: :hmm: hmmmn your all wondering, how did that happen, what did happen? did he change the starter? get it tested? Replace the injectors? Get his pants pulled down and arse slapped red again by Isuzu???

:D Well none of the above!! although i dont mind a bit of s&m so for a time the isuzu idea was looking an option

We changed the oil

I put in 10/40 around the time the injector went down hoping a service would cure any problems and lead thoughts away from the inevertable pricey injector.

What a BIG mistake.

It needs 5/30 fully synthetic. So anybody with a 3l trooper take heed.

A quick oil change a good run, a drain of oil part way and a top up and the jobs a good un.

Thanks to all who offered advice, it was muchly apreciated  and a BIG thanks to Kev ( you know who you are ) for taking the time out to give me a bell and whisper sweet nothings in my ear :victory:

Cheers lads
