This wait a while syndrone seems to be gaining momentum, WHY, if you have the land and need, then you should be able to get a .243 on FIRST GRANT.

You don't get a CF because you have had an air rifle or shotgun or rimfire a while, so why do you think you need to wait? :hmm::thumbs:

I put in for 22 17 and 223 all at same time on first application and got all 3.

No mentor but FEO knew I have been out shooting with mate on his permissions with all 3 calibres.

You do need the permissions that have been approved for the calibres.

A visit from FEO, or a call to him, should indicate what your likely to get.

You might need a mentor tho with Devon and Cornwall i'm pretty sure.

and in reply THE STALKER i have heard about having a mentor and have one lined up.

But is there a spicific amount of time you have to go out with your mentor or is it just when they say your safe?

as others i applied for .17 hmr,.22 and .243 all @ same time and got them granted all @ once with no mentor

or any other guidelines ,maybe some forces are more stricter than others ????????????????

only thing they knocked me back on was the ammount of rounds of ammo i could hold and buy @ any 1 time
