gutted

Recommended Posts

Well had some very bad news about my birch today. She's been the vets to have her stitches out and to have a xray to see how her foot was healing. Turns out her foot is now twisted and will never run again vet said more than a 5 min walk a day for the rest off her life. Any sudden burst of pressure on her foot will pop the tendon back open and if a human had done the same to the evierlant tendon they would never walk again. I'm abuserlutely gutted.

Sh*t that mate really sorry to hear ,are you going to keep her ?

I will keep her for the next year to be sure that she can't run. If she still defo can't run I will see if my mum will have her at hers for a pet home if my mum wont have I'll have her pts cause I don't want some knob have her who will just run her even tho I said she can't or people using her for a pup spiter

Cheers mike

did the vets tell you use bone radail mate? Mine told me use joint aid? I've been trying find out what rub and tendon treatments are the best but it seems like all the best ones you can't buy anymore lol

I've been told to use bone radiol in 4 weeks, after the internal stiches have dissolved and the opening has heeled up

oh right would you say bone radial is working? And does anyone know if you can use bone radial and joint aid together??

Cheers mike

Is meek a vet?

No. He is a canine osteopath: different thing altogether, though he knows a lot about tendon injuries.

On a different note, I've seen plenty of dogs carry on running with a flat toe and never have a problem, especially if its a hind foot.
