gonetoearth 5,144
The nhs is under the greatest threat since its creation. Not from the torys or labour. But THE HEALTH TOURIST !!!!!!
Guest bezza
How long will the nhs be 'free at the point of delivery' after the tories have carved it up? Edited October 28, 2012 by bezza

scothunter 12,609
The concept of the nhs is bell aunt, and with proper management in place. It's spot on. No way would I adopt Americas current system. Depending on how good a policy you have basically determines if you live or die. f**k that its big business over there. As opposed to the £100 billion it costs over here. Walk into Leicester A+E on an evening and see where all the money is going.
Ossie n Arch 1,683
One of my wife's friends is on benefits (she has custody of her 2 Grandkids) They both use the same dentist, my wife has to pay for treatment, her friend gets it free.
scothunter 12,609
Never said it was perfect and that provesmy point. Bad management, lets say we had the American system right now. Currently the country is in a financial nose dive. Out of work, benefits getting slashed, cuts in public sector etc. now the big businesses are still making profit, and they aren't softening the blow for us . The recent utility rises price that. How many British people would be dying or suffering right now under the yank system. No they slag of the nhs but its just sour grapes cause its prob one of the last institutions on this f*****g greedy planet that is for the people, but sadly under the guise of saving it they will put profit before the people. Ah such is life eh lol Edited October 28, 2012 by scothunter
Guest bezza
Thank your lucky stars you are not on benefits. How can you be jealous/resentful of somebody who is on the breadline? Thank God, I've never had to claim benefits . Benefit fraud accounts for only 3% of the total bill. . You've been reading The Daily Mail too much. The people who are bleeding this country are the tories and their friends who avoid paying billions in tax.
