daytime mooch or nights lamping

Recommended Posts

Had a walk around this morning.

Not a lot of rabbits about.

Dog played a blinder.

Worked hedge after hedge.

Marked just the three small sets.

Dug to the first rabit. The dog snaffled the second rabbit which came out of an un netted hole in the hedge. The last set produced another single rabbit.

Without the dog we would have at to settle for a blank.sO Im really pleased wih the dogs progress.

It isnt always about numbers. Its great to be out in that autumn sunshine mooching about with ferret and dog

Just back in from nights lamping.and yet another disapointing night.give my whippets a wrk out that that was well needed.only reason night ended as my cousin who decided to hold the lamp tonight fell and smashed it as whippet dog had an amazing run from big distance slip and turned rabbit before it got to ditch and just as he was about to grab it lamp smashed due to cousin losing balance and falling over and didnt bring a spare so cut night short.but overall im happy with whippet dogs progress
