Hi was at Hull Fair this year and the bb fireing machine guns was there the ones where you shoot the star out the middle of the card does any one know any thing about these guns

who made them

what there called

and can we buy them

Low pressure compressor fed air guns. Designed for the purpose of the fairground or shot blasting on a higher power industrial scale.

 

Useless other than what they are made for.

I searched for months mate looking for the same thing but never seem to come up with anything if you find anything please pm me and i will follow it up i will let you know if i come across anything

As with most fairground rides/ games they are custom engineered. Happen one or ten offs.

 

Try searching custom engineering company's that supply to the fairground trade or have a look for specialist sandblasting equipment and imagine it being a rifle for the applicator

i remember the "shoot out the stars" game, from Southsea seafront fairground, over 20 years ago. Damned thing was IMPOSSIBLE. The gun worked ok, but if you went too wide, you failed, and if you left even the tiniest bit of star outline you also failed. Terrible game.....wasn't half fun though.
