airwolf technical problem.

The felt that is used in the original can be replaced.

Simply strip the mod and all you're doing is replacing the original felt with a thinner felt. If you can get felt that is approx 2mm thick...cut it into approx 8 inch strips the same width as the ally tubes and roll the tubes fairly tight with the felt. It helps if you roll it on a hard surface with someone putting a little pressure on the end of the felt as you roll. When putting it all back together, it should be a tightish fit. As long as it isn't too tight and the felt doesn't push back on itself as you insert them in.

It certainly made a difference to mine. From a few yards away all that can be heard is the action on firing. You can get the craft type felt from ebay for a couple of quid.

I'll try get a couple of pics up tomorrow

Can i ask what your FPS is with your current ft/lb's setting and pellet? Also...is it nessecary to clean the barrel every -100 shots? You're pretty much cleaning the barrel not long after it's been re

when i got the twink (year ago) there was a baffle right at the front near the barrel end just off the unf thread. but sadly the baffle broke into small parts so i sent it back and it came back removed.

even with this removed baffle, on the wolf i can only hear the action if the gun is set to say 11-13ftlbs.

i would be interested to see how the twink compaired to the decemator mod. becuase its shorter than the decemator i belive.
