took me 3 month to clear a chicken yard, and as it turns out the guy that owned it told me when they first got the place there were rats climbing the trees by day, there were that many they were shooting all day one after the other at first, untill they got used to it.

i'd start with the lamp if theyre not shy, untill they get used to that, then go NV... little bleeders watch you going about with the lamp.

if your feeding regular then use a small heap of that food with a bit of loose around it, like you dropped it.. seems they like your mishaps lol.

if there is loads might be worth getting a night light up now, to let them get used to it, then feed that small pile regular and let them get used to it, sit back a bit from it because they suss where you sit etc.

edit in..oooo chance to try out a barrel mounted lazer.. you'll be suprised how effective it is on the NV.. shoot from the hip easy. if you've got a pcp its a rubber band and clamp it right next to barrel as close to the silencer as it can get.. to set up is a doddle, no shots required. deside on your zero for it, you should know where on the scope ret the poi is, pace out the distance and just set the laser on your ret at that distance to where the poi would be.

(dont worry about it being to the side of the barrel makes diddly squot diference at 15 yards or nearer..if the lazer clips the silencer then rap it with tape till it just clears).

the red line is the lazer...

hi lads , sometimes Its best not to put your numbers up on an open forum as you may get nuisance calls at silly hours , best edit them out  Edited by PIL
