Shore fishing west coast Scotland?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone.

After a bit of advice about current fishing and expected shore fishing of the mid west Scottish coast over the next few weeks.

Hoping to get to Mull or Ardnamurchan over the next few weeks, (up till mid Nov say) and was wondering what will be about, if anything from the shore either beachcasting from the rocks or spinning.

I am not expecting much but will all the mackeral have gone, will there be small pollock / cod about?

Thanks.

Mate, i was up that way last week and the 'word' was the mackeral had gone. If you can find deep water at your feet you will have fun with pollack on jelly eels etc. We had half a dozen in a morning. Im not much of a sea angler and im sure others will point you in the right direction.
