john b 38
I reckon a large version of the 'Danny Champion of the world' sticky cone "First of all you dig a little hole in the ground. Then you twist a piece of papaer into the shape of a cone and you fit this into the hole, hollow end up, like a cup. Then you smear the inside of the paper cup with glue and drop in a few raisins. At the same time, you lay a trail of raisins along the ground leading up to it. Now, the ols pheasant comes pecking along the trail of raisins, and when he gets to the holw he pops his head inside to gobble up the raisins and the next thing he knows he's got a paper hat stuck over his eyes and he can't see a thing." Aparently they just sit there. Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Over here I'd just bung it some Alpha Chlorolose and pick it up when it went down. But that's illegal in england. At least it certainly is for wild birds. Not sure about escaped domestics. Anyway; Ye haven't got AC and I can't see ye getting any. Sooooo ..... Think Handcart! I leave the rest to your own deviousness Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,102
Line it up in the scope and tell her her the fox had it . Quote Link to post

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Set a decent fox trap sensitive as ye like, mate. But do ye think it'd go in there? Quote Link to post
Madcowz 0
Hire a Pehen costume and entice it with some suitable strutting and dancing. As soon as he gets close enough to do any damage/embarrassment grab im. /mad Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,711
Basically its a glorified pheasant so I reckon a pheasant catcher with a bigger funnel would do the job. That or throw his grub in a pen that you can close with a string or use the method I used for catching some bantams of mine,,,,,,, a whippet  Quote Link to post

Spike01 0
Gnipper is right. I had a job come in for catching some pea cocks. Made 2 big funnels and used them with one of my partridge pens. Took about a week to catch 5. Then I got paid! Quote Link to post
