Lab 10,979
Not sure if it bothers you lurcher lads but if anyone gets my pups a squeaky toy the first thing i do is poke the squeak out. You dont want a gundog biting on a toy till it hears a squeak as it might do this with game and make it hard mouthed. I know some of you guys like your dogs to retrieve rabbits alive and this method would help a bit... Quote Link to post

Good karma is always worth while storing up. Getting out is always a battle for me but the dogs need walking regardless so better to put a couple in the freezer and pass on the fir than them ending up in the bin. Would rather help someone who sounds sensible out, the more normal people that get into this sort of stuff the better for the longevity of dog work for us all! I will check the calendar vin and give you a shout about some ferreting in the next couple of weeks mate 1 Quote Link to post
MissRhianL 70
Best thing i ever bought when i had my saluki greyhound pup i bought a fox tail from John Hallet the taxidermist by me and attached it to a bungee cord and nailed the other end of the bungee cord to the roof in the middle of his kennel, best thing i ever bought and he loved it he played with it for a good few months, it got him grabbing it and hed pull it and hel let it go and it would bounce about the place and he thought it was great Quote Link to post
jezza 126
you can get a nice fox tail for free, just go out and shoot yourself a fox or speak to someone who shoots them and im sure theyll help you out, not very durable but the dogs love em Quote Link to post
