bigmac 97kt 13,834
hi lads out agian to night and was asked to take down two pigeons that had getting into one of the farm sheds by the owner so got to the farm at 6.30 where she met me in the car park and she took me to the shed in question she had left the big doors open hopeing they wud fly out but to no avail so the raider was set up the first one was up in the rafters one shot later and it was on the floor the other one was on the office roof and it was soon on the floor with the other one so with them taken cear of off i went for a mooch around and there was not mutch about had a few shots at 2 or 3 but the shots where eather to high or to low so back to the car for a cupa and a sarny then off for another mooch still not a lot about and was heading back to the car when the little bunny ran out in front of me at about 20 yards so up with the raider and a 22 pellet was on its way hitting it just below the eye with that it just roled over so with that i packed the raider away and off i went home still chuffed that the raider had not blanked atvbmac ps some photos of before and after and the rabbits kidneas and liver are for vislauk,s patterdale pup a little treat for him 1 Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,589
Sounds like another productive evening out with this rifle Mac Considering how a lot of the lads here are reporting low to zero bags on their forays lately, including myself, anything you can get a shot off at and into the pot is a successful night's hunting. That's a damn tasty plateful of great scoff for your efforts mate. I'd be well chuffed to come home with that..No mistake! Be careful though if these are ferals Mac. Their diet is not as consistently good as their cousin woodpidgeon's are and the junk they eat in towns and city centres doesn't do their meat any favours with flavours! These look fine though... All the best for you and the Raider Mac. Simon Edited September 22, 2012 by pianoman Quote Link to post

All the best for you and the Raider Mac. Simon thanks simon back up again tonight some other things the owner wants us to take care of but the tx200hc is coming out to night and the raider of corse, will have to have a target shoot before i go as the pcp has no recoil where the tx has and iv used the raider the last few times out so will need to ajust to the recoil of the tx before unleashing it on its pray at longer distances the tx200hc as you no simon is deadly accurate and i find with jsb jumbo exact 15,89 gr that it is a cracking distance rifle eny where from 50 to 75 yards is not a probem to this rifle taken into account wether condisions most of the pray iv shot with this rifle have been over good distances better at good distances than close distances seam to miss when a lot closer to me and i will keep the ferals in mind mate atvbmac ps some photos of the tx200hc Edited September 22, 2012 by bigmac 97kt Quote Link to post
