Bell Target Open Evening (Free have to a go) 25th Sept 2012

Recommended Posts

On the evening of Tuesday 25th September 2012, Walton Lions are holding our now famous Bell Target Open Evening. As featured on the BBC. Copy on the club website.

We want to see other leagues come along as before. So get organized and let us know you are coming.

Birmingham league have added the date to their fixtures and have no matches that week.

Dependent on how many turn up, we may form some teams and have a shoot between us.

A just for fun competition, well you might get a sandwich.

If you are gun less or have not got a .177 set up for 6yd, no problem you can use one of ours.

Invitations will go out to all known Bell Target leagues, but everyone is welcome to try the oldest competitive Air Rifle Sport in the world.

We will have Plinking ranges where you can try a variety of Rifles from a number of makers, Feins, Ansultz, Air Arms, Brocock and Gun Power (inc ambi and left handers). We will have the new Brocock Concept target rifle already to be tried. Some of the rifle are light weight, so juniors and novices can have a go.

There are also the competition ranges where you can shoot in competition style.

We are based at Great Barr Conservative Club, Great Barr, Birmingham; it’s close to M6 Junction 7 at the top of the M5 and is behind the shops on the Newton Rd. It’s a very nice club.

All kick off about 8 to 8.30pm; please don’t arrive before 8pm give us time to set up.

Local Gun shops will be invited to take trade space so you can line up some bargains.

More details on where the club is can be found at www.waltonlions.co.uk

So if you don’t know much about Bell Target Shooting or just want to do some plinking.
