Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
hey fellas just stripped down my new 97kt and im very proud of myself..im the worst person ever when it comes to doing anything lol i just want to say it was so easy! when i was unscrewing the end i thought the spring would fly out , but it didnt, no need for a spring compressor. i dont know the power yet as i havent chronooed it yet i hope it isnt really low haha one problem i came across, i screwed the big screw thing wiith the spanner and it wouldnt go back into the stock so i looked closer and it was a bit wonky, where i hadnt put enough tension on the antibear trap spring thing as i screwed the big screw in, but then i got it sorted and im really happy with myself.. happy enough to start a thread lol. anyway my advice to anybody nervous about doing this stuff is, as long as you take your time and be very carefull it is so EASY. going to do the hw95k tomoro around work and then put the scope on the 97 and hopefully get out and get some lead through her for the first time.. wish me luck lol. oh and heres a pic of the piston seal, spring.. factory greased.. too much? no metal shards or signs of damage anywhere tho all looks ok and my stock from my first chinese lol spraypainted blue hahaha,, slight quality difference from the hw........ thanks for reading, Edited September 6, 2012 by Skot Ruthless Teale Quote Link to post
thursodog 353
Well done mate. Caker for the baker stripping and putting back together eh! Not too much grease there and the piston seal face looks fine, get a V-mach kit up it and you'll never look back. Love the blue stock, get it on the 97, pure class 1 Quote Link to post
