Just give him a little pull and a little persuasion biscuit or something do it everyday he'll be fine by end of week

if your pup has something that he loves to play with, take it with you have him on the lead then when he stops just entise him to come with the toy, in my case with my bitch was a pair of socks, that i used to get her fetching 2 or 3 times a day she loved em and i used them. atb

patience and perseverance mate, try just letting it drag the lead around the house / garden whilst playing it'll soon forget its there

Only do this under very close supervision. Imagine what could happen in a very short time if the lead got caught - like under a door etc. Keep sessions on the lead short and fun - like mentioned above playing with a sock.
