George Kinloch 16
Just started on my journey of getting in to ferreting. Picked up two 14week Hobs today. One albino one poley. Really happy with them. Both really nice temprements. Anyone got any advice with getting the most out of ur ferrets? George Quote Link to post

pipa 299
Hi George, when they are old enough and ready to work if possible try and find a small used set so the hobs have more chance of dropping on the bunnies, keep this up and you should increase you're chances of having some good working stock? ferretville 69
Plenty handling , and meat and feather to start with george . A decent sized run with tubes in ie drainage tubes are good . This will get them used to to running the tubes just like in a sett. Try putting there collars on so there used to them aswell . When you think they are big enough and strong enough try them on some smaller setts to start with . And dont force them down the setts let them go down there selves they will soon cotton on . Hope you have many good years of sport with with your ferrets george atb fv Quote Link to post
George Kinloch 16
Cheers lad. The advice is great. Been handling them every day and feeding them rabbit meat. So hopefully they will grow to be great little workers. The shooting promissions I have, have lots of little warren scattered around so will work with those first. All the best and sure I'm Gunna need some more advice in the not to distant future. Quote Link to post
