Last October I got my first lurcher,me and my pal went out every Wednesday with lamp and every Sunday morning. I loved it and have been going to a fair few shows doing the simulated racing to get my dogs fit.im really keen but new to the sport when is the earliest I can start my second season. Because I'm getting frustrated iv tryed getting out but grass is too long and too much cover.

no reason you carnt go daytime all year, you will be surprised whats in all that long grass not proper hunting but proper mooching

sheep farms are your best change to find the shortest grass this time of year mate. horse paddocks also have nice short grass on them abd the rabbits seem to love them, some people dont like lamping there dogs amongst horses and others will. its just down to personal preference.

I don't like hunting in a field with young bullocks or young bull calves I call them dangerous on legs i've been close to having a injury by them fu*kers.
