Woodworm1972 24
Sign me up! Mate I would climb over my mother for a permission :-) Free! It's a pleasure, we do it for the love of our craft. It's not everybody that can dispatch vermin with such precision. Chris Quote Link to post

BEARINATOR 2,924
I do it free but also work for a pest controller mate, so get paid as well Quote Link to post
Stuart1985 256
What I meant with this was, I offer my pest control services as that's what my Job is, do said I would top up his poisons etc and in return would he allow me to walk about dispatching crows magpies etc in return, he then asked why would I want to do it for free? robwelsh 354
Lol because you like shooting. Seems strange that he's asked you that.. I can imagine most businesses and farmers to want a freebie as its saving them money and the hassle of employing a pest controller. Id love nothing more than to get paid to hunt lol Quote Link to post

From reading your post here Stuart, it does appears you do pest control and therefore, a degree of shooting, for a living Stuart. That's good. A farmer generally expects that you will be simply wanting to go shoot and hunt on his land, in exchange for culling the pests that blight his business. Thus, he gives you and me and the other lads here permission to do so. Seems you have offered him favours in unpaid skilled labour, above and beyond anyone else's reasonable expectation, to secure shooting rights here mate?! That's probably why he's wondering, you see old lad! Simon Quote Link to post
