i normally start late september !!here where i am in ireland the grass and nettles are very high and i cant see what im doing so il have to wait unfortunally have a good season lads i have my team ready for this year so hope all goes well.....

sometime in spetember in the grass fields but more grown up areas will have to wait until the nettles ect ave died down

i've started but only done 2 sessions for a couple of hours. Testing a couple of new ferrets and taken the nephew out as well. nice and easy, no stress and getting back into is just great.

bored out of my head and would love to start tomorrow, dogs waiting jills going mad ready, but i will wait til end of september my permissions had young up to early october last year, hope the winter is a better one than last year. good luck and happy hunting for the new season

Never really stopped doing a few little garden jobs. We are starting this Sunday to clear a farm, open sets on short grass, nets and guns initially backfilling as we go. it should take 4 sundays to do. Then we will do the rest when the bracken dies off probably work the heavy cover with the gundog and do the outlying fields with the lurchers when it isnt as warm. although ive got a fleece on today its bloody freezing!

I've done a few small jobs as well in the summer. Next week I'm starting somewhere else, this is a bigger area where a lot of damage needs to be controlled. Hopefully it won't be too warm.
