if Si did a 50m group test for his tuned 97 against Davys out-of-the box 97 as a comparison then i think Si's would get better results..(Si shooting both guns to make it a 'fair test'.. or Davy using the 2 rifles)

dont get me wrong there still amazing guns straight out of the box (i have had 2)

 

if hes paid £100+ for tony wall to do some magic on it then it has to make it better than a factory gun.. right?!

Do you remember when you came over to Simon's and we were shooting pennies at that range with our springers? Simon with his 77 and me with my Diana 52? (both fettled by me )

 

I've always said that a good springer when used correctly is as good as any PCP and you've helped to prove the point.

First class video again Si. Although you were too much of a true English gentleman to name the person who called you a liar. I wonder if now you have proved that you can indeed do what you said you can, if the person who called you a liar will do the decent thing and give Si a public appolgy. I know that Si is too much of a gentleman to press for a public appolgy, but he deserves one.

 

Just because i can not put pellet on pellet, doesn't meen that someone who doesn't twitch and has better shooting skills can. I have seen people cut a playing card in half with a shot, pellets split in knife blades, pellets used to cut cotton cord and bottle tops at crazy distances. But it is wrong to call them trickshots for there is no trickery involved, just people that have a steadier hold, better eye and more ability than me. But never ever call them trickshots because they are far from being tricks.
