you called the police,,,, so now your a grass!!!!!! and id of done exactly the same mate.... good on you john, fingers crossed the dog gets put down, and thank f**k your kids ok,,,,

Hope the boy is OK and not too shaken up.   People like that really need the dogs taken off them and put down (the dog, that is or if you have a gun handy, the owners too). I see plenty round this w

The owners need putting down. The dogs just need keeping on leads and under control.   All the bad press we get as working dog owners and Joe Public get away with murder.

Parks are for kids not dogs !...........Boils my blood when you see people exercising dogs in parks and on beeches where they know theres going to be kids.

Glad the childs healthy and 1 piece

gnasher16 what really pisses me before we let any of the kids in the team on the pitch we allways have check for dog shit lads good thank mate atb  john

I do not take my dogs to public parks anymore because of the dangers of loose, out of control dogs. I quite agree with the dog turd problem as well. Having said that, every time there are whispers of more dog control laws etc........................................the same crowd throw up their hands crying 'no!'. I feel people with dangerously out of control dogs should be hammered - no ifs, no buts......hammered by the law. Fines, jail and dogs gone........people then may take owning a dog more seriously.

Is there anywhere in cities for people to walk their dogs?

In the city i live in there are plenty of places, parks, river walks etc as well as the footpaths - but as these are public places I think all dogs should be kept on leads......less risk of people and other dogs getting injured that way.
