rob84 112 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 Had the same problem with my 10 month old pup last wk, did not break anything but hit the nail hard. Decided to get the dewclaws off on both front legs, vets were good. They said it was a straightforward enough operation, 10 min job under anesetic. He had the op last wednesday and the cuts are healing up good! Really glad that i went for it thats the last of it now! It cost £100 + vat. Millet 4,497 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Share Posted August 1, 2012 Had it happen to a old dog but he broke both of his turning a hare on a rough dolimite track,,i just taped them up with micro pore tape.and then electician's tape when taking him out..it healed after about 3wk's and it never happened again Quote Link to post Share on other sites
