MissRhianL 70
My dog is always in the wars with his dew claws as one of them tends to grow out and up. Sometimes doing damage to the dew claw can put your dog out for a while. Tbh there isnt really anything you can do, a mate of mines dog snapped his dew claw and they left it and eventually it dropped off and didnt grow back but i cant say for definate it will happen to yours as its never happened amongst my dogs but if your in any doubt theres no harm in ringing the vets and just asking their advice, you can have them removed i know you got to think whats best for the dog
