Hi Villaman i think i told you the other day that i use a JVC Everio GZ-175 its got a 40 gig HD, and shoots in HD, i mounted this to the scope using the clamp from an Deban TRISTAR lamp that was broken so utilized the clamp.: Dave

if i was you i would go for a camera with high optical zoom, and full HD,here is one i have for night shooting http://www.sony.co.uk/product/cam-high-definition-on-memory-stick/hdr-cx6ek#pageType=TechnicalSpecs you can pick these up for about £200 + there is one on ebay, but only if you intend to do a lot of night shooting, not much good for day shooting due to the x10 optical zoom

good luck in your quest for the right one

Thanks for that Davy and Dave but what about slow motion how do you go about it. I don't need NV on it as i have a pulsar n550 and buying a recording unit for that

If you want a dedicated slow motion, full HD video and 14 million MP camera then you can try what i have just got.

Panasonic DMC-TZ30EB-K Compact Camera - Black (14.1MP, 20x Optical Zoom) 3 inch LCD

It films at 220 fps, I didn't even know it had the slow motion video recording until I got it.

Picture quality is awesome as demonstrated in the photo I took of the woody. This photo is down graded as well to fit on the forum.

This is at 900 quality when the original is at 4400 :icon_eek: so loads better than this image.
